IN PHOTOS | The City Government of San Pedro, through the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO), continues to strengthen its disaster preparedness efforts with the ongoing Incident Command System (ICS) Position Course Training held from November 24–28, 2025.
This five-day, ladderized training is designed to equip members of the Incident Management Team (IMT) with the essential knowledge, skills, and attitude needed to effectively carry out their roles and responsibilities during emergencies. By enhancing team cohesion and coordination, the program ensures a more efficient and organized disaster response for the community.
The course is facilitated by the CDRRMO Admin and Training Division, with monitoring support from the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) CALABARZON.
Through scenario-based learning, CDRRM Council members are able to assess the unique needs of their respective areas and identify appropriate response strategies. Instructors also share valuable insights and best practices gained from years of experience in rescue operations and emergency missions.
This initiative underscores the City Government’s commitment to building a safer, more resilient San Pedro City.
